I was out and about, listening to one of the great episodes of The Boob Hound podcast with Danielle Derek (Alluring Intros) - and I don’t know why, but it got me thinking… what actually happens when providers retire? Do they stay in touch with clients they’ve known for years, or do they “cut ties” completely?
I get that this is, at its core, a business transaction - but sometimes it goes deeper than that.
I could really see that in the post I made yesterday about ATFs/SBs giving gifts the other way. Everything from designer shirts and sunglasses to tickets for sporting events. I’ll admit, I’m a little jealous - but it is what it is.
I’d be genuinely intrigued to see what happens when a provider you’ve gotten close to retires. Very intrigued. I do, however, first need to find a good ATF… which is far easier said than done. Either that, or reach out to my former favorite ATF. Sigh...
Anyway, has anyone actually stayed in touch with a provider after her retirement? Or heard of anyone else who has? Maybe it lasted for life, maybe just a few years -but I’m curious to hear if those bonds ever truly fade.
