It makes sense to take advice about the hobby from a full-career provider. It makes even more sense when that provider operates somewhere where their work can be decriminalized or legally practiced. The freedom they have to explore their profession openly and even be rewarded for it—offers a level of insight that makes what they say feel almost like gospel. Jade Blair gave me that kind of insight through a detailed video explaining why 15-minute bookings are largely pointless in the hobby. I’ve always believed this myself, but hearing it from a professional working where providing is legal makes it hit differently.

Right from the start, Jade explains the reality behind 15-minute bookings. Guys like to say they’ll be in and out, but in reality that rarely happens. There’s always some level of conversation and basic pleasantries when meeting another human being, which makes perfect sense. The problem is that those small, natural interactions start eating into the already limited time. When you add in everything else that normally happens during a session, it becomes clear that 15 minutes just isn’t realistic.

As she explains in the video, what starts as a supposed quick in-and-out session something Jade compares to a lunch break often stretches into 20 or even 30 minutes. By that point, the entire concept of a 15-minute booking kind of defeats itself.

Personally, I’ve never done a 15-minute booking and probably never would, because it really doesn’t make much sense to me. I’m sure there are guys out there who can walk into a room, skip the conversation, and get straight to business. But that doesn’t seem like it fits the type of providers most of us are seeing. It probably makes more sense in environments like AMPs or quick car sessions where expectations lean more toward minimal conversation and a fast turnaround. Even then, I can’t imagine there’s a lot of enjoyment in that kind of setup. But like anything else in the hobby, different strokes for different folks.

P.S. Good call on finding Jade Blaie @OOO7Gent. Wondering if she still provides thought
