If you haven’t been under a rock for the past couple of months then you’d know that MonkeyPox is becoming a real world problem once again. For those that don’t know, Monkeypox is a transmittable disease that can spread with a simple touch putting your health at risk in a big way. Biggest health risk is getting pimples and blisters basically all over your body and especially on your genitals and anus. 

I’m making this known in our community, because with another pandemic showing it’s face we are very likely to contract the disease seeing a provider. I’m not trying to bash providers for not being careful I know they’ve been extremely cautious when it comes to their screening process ever since COVID came along, but I have heard stories of clients not caring about health and seeing providers regardless of it. This is one of the most disgusting things a client can do. Not only is that client putting that provider at risk, but they’re putting all her clients in jeopardy spreading the virus. 

I’m a nutshell, since our hobby involves physical contact the most I can say is be aware of who you’re seeing and this goes for providers also. Last I checked there’s no way to detect who has the MonkeyPox without seeing the symptoms with your own two eyes. Still, have fun out there.

In the UK we currently have limited doses of the monkeypox vaccine and gay men are currently being prioritised . You would need to be on PreP also but I have had from some female providers who have found ways to get the vaccine

It’s a serious disease. Some people are reportedly dying from it. Not very many, but it seems some are.
Nobody’s sure if it can spread before initial rash and fever are present. It can certainly spread when just the initial nonspecific symptoms are present like a slight fever and redness or rash. It can definitely spread through contact with sores, unprotected anal sex, and contact with some bodily fluids. It’s probably not airborne, but might be transmissible through nearly any other contact. Soiled linens and clothes might spread it too.
I’m avoiding anyone somewhat high volume or who has sex with men who have sex with men at least for now.
Vaccines are in nearly as short supply as solid information is, but they exist and should become available in the future if we can’t get this under control.

Not to be a dick and focus on the financial part, but there is only one pharma company in Denmark that makes the vaccine at this time. Should throw a few dollars into tjier stock, me thinks

Just from reading news articles I've read that most infections come from prolonged skin to skin exposure, whether that be through sex, sharing bed sheets, etc. Most of those infected thus far have been gay men. I'm not a doctor I personally have no clue just some added info for you.
