It's just that I feel the best part of every experience happens with the anticipation, the door opening, the chitchat, the connection. Sex? It can be good. Like really good. But I just feel only seldomly the sex is so good it's better than memorable. Like if you want me to write a review of seeing xxx a year ago I might be able recount a lot of non sex detail but what happens on bed itself was just like another sex...

Give yourself weeks or months-long breaks if need be to enjoy other experiences and ‘normal’ hobbies.

Sometimes our brains get so hooked on dopamine that moments that would typically give us highs end up feeling mundane after some time. A good dopamine fast or detox works wonders.

You can always come back to it whenever you like.

If the " pay off" isn't as great as the Anticipation.....just take a sabbath to reset your batteries.

Or try a lil vanilla dating from time to time.
Getting a "heart" emojii in your message inbox from a female that you randomly reached out to .....builds anticipation as well with the hope of endless possibilities....from what I found

I been feeling the same way. I have booked much less this year than I have same time last year... I am getting a bit bored as well. I've flown out and seen all my favorites. And I don't have enough of a desire to keep burning through money at the moment lol

There's nothing wrong with that.
The hobby shouldn't be a job.
If the thrill is gone than move on. Simply as that.

If you find yourself feeling obligated to indulge but you're not getting satisfied. You definitely should stop because other factors may be at work

I have 4 women on my list that I should see by the end of May than i am going on a break. Maybe ill be back. maybe i wont. Maybe ill find a decent girl . Ok but in all seriousness it seems like you need a break. Tap your toes into other hobbies. I already got a few hobbies lined up.

I can agree here. Apologies if this is tangential, but I saw someone use the term “hoeflation” on social media. People joking that men might have seen one or two 10s in their entire lives and how social media has messed up by making the world so accessible and we see 10s daily on our phones. We can take that a step further with this hobby as well.

For me (also 30 years old), I am fortunate enough to make enough money to basically see most providers or pornstars available to me. That model on Instagram? That legendary pornstar? All available. Obviously some are more expensive than others, but if I saved up to splurge then it’s not impossible. Obviously I am skipping that 1 percent that is untouchable to mortals like me, but I think my point remains.
