I want to say I’ve seen them before, but I can’t really remember. They’ve been around for a long time almost three decades way before I started in this hobby. With that kind of history, you’d think they’d have more recognition. Yet barely anyone talks about their member site here or anywhere else, which makes me wonder if there’s a reason for that.
RS2k is a screening service for providers to vet clients. It’s not all that different from P411, offering the same level of guarantee that the person in the profile is who they say they are. Supposedly, RS2k’s screening process is pretty strict, making it tough for clients to get accepted. The process itself is straightforward they ask for the usual information a provider would want for verification, and from that point on, they only contact you by email. Hopefully, that means you don’t have to worry about them reaching out to your employer.
Another plus is that RS2k lets you see the providers using their service. There aren’t a ton of women listed in each area, but at least you get an idea of who you’ll be verified to see before even applying. A lot of familiar faces pop up same women you see on Eros and PD along with a few new ones. It’s not overwhelming like some directories that flood you with profiles and make it hard to choose. The smaller roster could actually be a sign that RS2k takes who they allow onto the platform seriously, which in turn might give clients some added safety. Possible, at least.
The application process and yearly fee also seem affordable. It’s $75 for the first year, covering verification and some extras, then only $25 annually after that. Honestly, that feels more reasonable than other screening services charging much higher rates.
From the outside looking in, RS2k seems solid and maybe even underrated. I don’t know enough about the service yet to pass full judgment, but it looks worth trying. I’m personally not the biggest fan of screening services many providers will still screen you no matter what service you’re on. Still, with RS2k’s current pricing and the fact you can see providers before signing up, it seems like a nice leg up.
