Even though I don't know you personally, and never met Jason, just reading those words shows just how close you two were. Losing someone that close is a really hard thing to deal with, so I'm really sorry for your loss.
You should take all the time off you need, I'm sure nobody in this forum would pressure you to answer any emails in the near future.

Damn. I’m sorry for your loss. I’m glad to read that you two shared four decades of ass kickin’ together. I am fortunate to have friends like Jason and many of them I met in high school football back in the early 80s. Our team sucked, but we had a ton of fun making mischief together.
