Just wanted to get some feedback on my thoughts and approach as I prepare for my first dinner date (4 hour date including dinner). My previous longest date was 3 hours and didn’t include a meal so this is a first for me and first time with this provider.

I’ll be picking her up from her hotel (she’s touring my area) and then going to dinner and ultimately back to the hotel. I think I can handle the dinner part fairly well - drinks (but not too much) and whatever food and dessert she wants while trying to have a natural rapport with her and not trying to seem like I’m rushing through it.

I have more questions regarding the going back to the hotel part…..seeing as we’re doing from dinner, do I bring additional alcohol for the room? Do you fellas bring a toiletry bag to shower and brush your teeth with? Do you immediately excuse yourself to the shower once you’re in the room or do you have another drink and continue chatting? And once you do shower, do you come out clothed, in a robe, or presumptuously naked lol

I prefer doing longer dinner dates, you can’t go wrong there. One word of advice, I know you have your plan laid out, but I’ve found having sex before dinner always works out better. Work up the appetite. It’s not the alcohol it’s the food and getting full, then trying to have sex. I’ve powered through (as well as the girl) a few full stomach fucks and while we both got there, it was not as pleasurable. For that reason I stopped doing dinner/drinks first then sex.

Since you are going back to her place, definitely bring a toiletry bag if you can discreetly or just bring a small bottle of mouthwash to put in your pocket. You can freshen up in the room once you get there.

How you come out of the shower is your call bro, but why put all your clothes on if you are gonna presumably take them off?

Additional alcohol- that’s up to you and your drink tolerance I suppose. Personally for just a 4 hour date the alcohol I plan to drink I get at the restaraunt.

Toiletries- if it’s her hotel, absolutely. Brushing your teeth after a meal won’t hurt and she may want you to shower. You never know.

The rests is gonna depend on how you handle the first two. If you’re still going to be drinking then there might not be a need to shower immediately. In terms of after the shower however you wanna come out goes. I’ve come out of a shower naked and shirtless before and never had any complaints. But realistically why get fully clothed again right after?

This seems really nice. I think I might have gone overboard with my first date, but I guess we'll see how it goes. All I'm going to do is enjoy myself and hope for the best. I planned out everything as much as I can and even though I know something is going to go wrong all I can do is hope for the best.

I dont bring additional alcohol, never have more than 2 drinks with a provider (if any at all, I stay 100% sober most of time). I've also never brushed my teeth right after a shared meal with a provider. I just eat a similar meal as they are having, and you both have the same breath. I will take a quick shower before getting started though. Everything else is situational. Sometimes I will talk for 20 mins before doing anything and other times things start up in the elevator. I'd say, just go with the flow, the more you try to pre-plan, the more you miss the real moments as they happen.

Thanks all. I tend to be an overthinker so thanks for reeling me back in. I’ll control what I can control and most importantly, try to be organic and be present. I don’t want to get all caught up in trying to manage everything and forgetting to enjoy the date.

I do love the idea of going to the hotel before the dinner, but I’ll try to keep the dinner light seeing as this is my first dinner date, I’ll let this feel a little more natural and have the tension build up over dinner.

I think some of this overthinking happens too because these damn Twitter girls all flaunt such extravagant dinners and experiences that other men take them on that I get in my head. It all gives a “high maintenance” vibe which I can respect if it’s their brand, but makes me feel like I need to be on my absolute A game and not turn them off in anyway, especially given the price point some of these girls are asking for.

Damn! I really wish I really wish I had your though process on things. I overthink to the point I do to much and I fear I've done that.

As you said yourself, don't overthink it. Think of a dinner date as a regular date where you know you will get lucky. I tend to want to play after dinner. I find dinner, the vibe, the conversation to be very nice foreplay.

Quick update fellas. First dinner date went well. We met at dinner, had drinks and amazing food over 2 hours before sharing a quick uber back to her place. Had my toiletries bag to shower and freshen up and the rest of the night went off without a hitch. Turns out I was just overthinking everything and using good judgement and having basic planning was good enough
