So, during my recent interview with an up-and-coming pornstar soon to be a great provider, I had the opportunity to learn about an interesting topic: doxycycline. Let me share what I discovered with you!

What is Doxycycline?

Doxycycline is a widely used antibiotic that falls under the tetracycline class. It's known for its effectiveness against a wide range of bacterial infections, making it a commonly prescribed medication for various conditions.

One of the remarkable things about doxycycline is its ability to combat infections like skin infections, Lyme disease, respiratory infections, and notably, sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Specifically, it can be used to prevent three major STIs: syphilis, chlamydia, and pelvic inflammatory disease. I have to admit, this was news to me as well, but it's undoubtedly a gamechanger for anyone who takes their health seriously in this industry.

With the hobby becoming increasingly dangerous by the day with STDs on the rise, specially syphilis in all its forms. it's getting harder for use to enjoy ourselves bareback. Whether it's full service or just a simple BJ, providers are moving towards covered full service everyday. Which is their right to do so as much as an inconvenience it is to us. I'm not saying this will put an end to that, but it will keep us safe to go bare in sessions. Mind you, this is a study that's been happening for sometime now and is not full proof, so that doesn't mean to stick your dick in every provider that moves. You can still catch other STDs. This is not a get out of jail free card.

Now, it's crucial to remember that doxycycline isn't a magical solution to all problems. It's not a guarantee against all STIs, and it shouldn't be taken lightly. Research is essential before considering using this medication, as with any other medication. There may be side effects to consider, and it's crucial to understand the correct dosage and duration of use, which is typically around seven days after sexual activity.

Some say to take 100mg and other say 200 mg is the recommended dose to be taken after sex. You're suppose to take it for seven days straight to clear out any infection that maybe in your system. Supposedly, you can for certain STIs once known you have them and it'll clear it on it different time frames. It really depends on what you have.

Again, this is not a get out of jail free card. Don't go crazy out there. Also, please do your own research as a precaution. Like any medication there will be side affects, so make sure you check that out as well.
