it's expected.

#1) both typically are playing nicey-nicey, for good reason

#2) Providers have feelings. I do not think any client though can understand the depths of complexity of emotions that a provider experiences regarding her profession. the barrier to real intimacy is both sides. A provider has to compartmentalize her feelings or they'll likely go nuts. A client maybe not as much because most are just not seeing the volume a Provider does. The client is picking teh provider. The provider to a certain degree, IS NOT, she's a commodity to the buyer. yes, that's an exaggerated description. But she knows you are there for the pussy.

#3) Providers have learned the hard way. They end up meeting some 'great guy' every so often, and sooner or later the dude a) gets possesive, b) too needy, c) feel in the blank falling in love is a job killer for a provider, and they learn that.

#4) the time spent is simply too superficial.

#5) and yeah, a provider wants you to be mostly exclusive to her and not the other way. why? because it's her career Sherlock. may not seem right, but that's the way it is


I'd say I've had two women who I absolutely could see myself married to, IF their professional career became limited. like to only a once a month porn shoot, lol. One saw over a 10 year period. and I know she ended up in a relationship with a client at the end.

the other stopped and started 3x over 13 years, and that 2nd definitely she has strong feelings about me. It's so good in part because we know each other well by now. and really did not come to become fond until after about 12 or so times with her, even at one point early on didn't think she even liked me, and then just one time did an event together and then after that we do a lot of stuff together. maybe the thing is it's a great 'relationship' because we both want more, and know more might not be good thing

and lastly, yeah if there is a 'separation' from a trusted client, it is HARD on a provider, it can be very hard. who wouldn't feed sad about that?

In my experience, yes it happens sometimes. I’ve certainly had providers tell me stories.

I did sugar dating for a few years before I started seeing escorts. I never ended up paying out much allowance, max 2K/month, and most of the relationships felt like regular old civilian ones.

My first was a no allowance relationship, and though it didn’t last long, and I wouldn’t say that I was in love with her, we absolutely caught some feelings for each other. The relationship ended amicably when she moved away for work, and we stayed friends after. She got married a few years later, and then divorced recently, and her ex couldn’t tolerate us being friends.

Anyway, I can totally see sugar relationships being “real” and turning into marriages. IMO, from a financial point of view, in principle a wealthy husband is much like an SD.

Only one escort ever caught some feelings for me, and I felt the same way. I think it’s fair to say that we loved each other, but were not in love. Jealousy played a role, and with a nod to St. John of Vegas’ post about trauma bonding, perhaps some of that as well.

I’d say both parties have to be very emotionally healthy and mature to make it work, especially if one or both of you is still in the game.
