This site is very informative, but I see a conflict of interest here. If a hobbyist (as you call yourselves) has a negative interaction with a provider, sure you can post a review or your opinion or whatever. But the problem is some of these providers and their agency are on here too. They can easily see a comment or review and find out who it may be and it could get back to you in a negative way. Constructive criticism or not, there can be negative (or positive depending on the perspective) consequences, no?

Or providers can share their perspective on a date. I think it’s a good thing because before you make a judgement it’s good to know both sides of a story.
It’s hard to believe a provider would give a poor experience if all reviews are positive.
So no, I don’t see a conflict as you describe.

Here on EA, we've had a few providers message us privately, explaining that reviews wasn´t entirely fair with proof, those has been taken down if we deemed that to be the best.
All of the reviews on here are verified one way or another.

Having companions and/or agents on the site is a benefit because they can share information that can be missed by isolated groupthink of clients.

I’ve seen other forums also have paid-by provider ads as a means to support the site as well. Doesn’t exactly mean that there’s going to be a bunch of shilling going on. Good admins and mods know that shilling is rather easy to spot and is in their best interest to not let it run rampant.
