I know there's quite a few of us on here that are heading to Las Vegas in a couple of weeks for the AVNs or the activities with some of our favourites that are going on surrounding the events, but is anyone concerned like me about the strike that's going on at the Virgin Hotel? I've seen a lot of people on social media say they won't be attending or coming out because of the strike if there isn't a resolution as a lot of folks won't cross picket lines. I also know there's some of us that were going to be there but weren't necessarily going for the convention, but just wondered everyone's thoughts.
Mine personally, I support the cause, which is fair pay for the workers at the hotel, but at the same time, it's a crap situation because I paid a lot of money (as did everyone else I'm sure) to attend the event and fly out and have accommodations as well as admission to the expo. Some have been calling for AVN to change venues, but I'm thinking it's too short notice to do, and even if it were an option, the peeps running AVN socials have been promoting discounted room rates at the Virgin Hotel (I wonder why lol) so it doesn't seem like a venue change is likely. It's making me a bit nervous personally, what about y'all?
