Cialis - when?

So my Dr gave me the green light to try Cialis, which I've never used before.
I'm planning on taking it tomorrow because I have a session with a provider.
Everywhere seems to have different guidelines on when to take it, how long before etc etc
so wondered if you guys had any best practice tips and tricks?
