Can't Argue About a Providers Growth

Try to be cordial. I know that's asking a lot but try.

Everywhere I turn, I’ve seen this post pop up. I can’t go a day without seeing it, which is what made me want to write about it it piqued my interest the moment I saw it. Not so much for what was happening in the video, but more for the caption and what it represents. It pushes back against one of the biggest stigmas that a lot of providers either have a hard time with or fail at altogether, the idea that they can change and find a better way of life, whatever that looks like for them.

So, the video is of a so-called provider being baptized. I don’t know if this woman is a provider, nor do I know if she’s involved in any kind of sex work at all. Some are speculating that this could be the famous foot model Svett. She was a known provider back in the early 2010s through 2019 but stopped all sex work out of nowhere. I’m not saying this is Svett it could be anyone. I thought it was Whitney OC for a split second, but @oc.businessman.33 shut that down and said it wasn’t :ROFLMAO:. To be honest, I couldn’t care less who this woman is; her actions speak to a way of moving through the world that might be right for some, but not all. The fact that she’s changing is commendable, and if she needs God for that, all power to her. Sometimes people need something bigger than themselves to believe in in order to become a better version of who they are.

A lot of people will see this in a negative light that a provider doesn’t need to go through this in order to change. Others speculate that sex work is something you need to “get clean” from. Basically, people are throwing out opinions meant to disprove what this woman is doing, when giving her hope would probably do more to help her reach her goal. I’m not a religious person, and seeing something like this does make me scratch my head, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to disrespect a woman trying to better her life. I’d slit my wrist before I did that. How some people feel comfortable doing that is beyond me just because it doesn’t fit their ideology, they think it’s okay to disrespect another person. It blows my mind.

I’ve seen so many women this year leave for something better. A lot of them went on to pursue other forms of work or simply retired with the money they made as SWers. Many returned to providing, and it’s very possible this woman will as well. Based on the track record of SWers, it’s entirely plausible she may return to sex work. However, I’m not wishing that on her. She found something higher than herself to believe in whether that’s money or God, that’s her choice. Change comes in several different forms.

For those who are interested in this woman's story, you can find it and her here. I still think this could be Svett, but I don't know.
