I told my manager choose me if he had to do a RIF since I was going to retire next year and live off my investments. In addition, I'm going to get unemployment for 26 weeks (751/week) with the only hassle of providing 3 activities that I proves I was trying to seek employment

I played the unemployment game a couple of years ago. Go on LinkedIn and apply for positions and send a resume to a few posted jobs a week that you are either not qualified for or over qualified for. There will be a record of you looking and nothing will ever come of your efforts. Be smart though, try to keep the apps within your industry or skill set.
