Sugarbabes and the concept of a sugar relationship can be amazing and mutually beneficial. However, you should ALWAYS keep these three things in mind. I’m sharing what I wish I had known BEFORE getting into an actual sugar relationship.
1) Make EVERYTHING clear from the start.
Set boundaries and rules. Like a gentleman pointed out in this post, you should both sit down and agree on the arrangement: how much you’ll pay her in exchange for specific services, and ensure both of you are on the same page.
2) Don’t get attached.
If you’re an emotional person, a sugar relationship is not be for you.
Becoming emotionally invested will hurt you in the long run. Any sugar relationship is BOUND to end—maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not in two years, but eventually, it will come to an end.
3) Take the whole experience with a grain of salt.
Don’t take sugar relationships too seriously. I made that mistake, and it hurt me in the long term. I even found myself feeling pathetic, like i would even cry if my sugarbabe didn’t respond within a day.
Sugar relationships should be approached lightly—as life experiences rather than long-term commitments.
Oh, and don’t write her every day. It will end badly.
Even if this post only helps a few gentlemen, that’s good enough for me. I’m with you.
