Today, I had a session with a girl I’ve never met before in Denmark. It went well, but that’s just a side note. On my way there, I stopped by a café to grab a quick coffee. While I was sitting, listening to music blasting from my AirPods, I took a moment to observe my surroundings—both in the coffee shop and on my way to the session.

I noticed that many people didn’t seem as happy as they could be. Of course, this could be due to various reasons, but I believe it’s largely because they don’t allow themselves to be “free” even for a day or two. They walk around with their heads down, staring at their phones, absorbed in something that isn’t remotely important.
If people think that mindlessly scrolling through TikTok or Facebook is “important,” then they need a serious reality check.

This isn’t a money issue. These people have jobs, they have money, a place to live, etc. But many of them seem so disconnected. It feels like most people are in a constant battle, trying to prove they’re better than others. This constant anxiety about what the future holds drives a lot of people insane.

If you asked 90% of the people you pass by every day, “When was the last time you really had a blast? Went to a party, got hammered, went on vacation, etc.?” most of them wouldn’t be able to tell you. They’re too consumed by thoughts of work, money, Netflix and the future.
Some (More than a few, at least) People in 2024 are so caught up in their own lives that it’s honestly making me sick.

That’s why, when I read a review in the review section from one of you gentlemen, it genuinely makes me happy! You’re out there living your dreams and enjoying life.
If we consider the average lifespan, we only have around 4,000 weeks on this earth—a span that goes by in a flash. Most people just exist, and that’s it.

Just an observance from the everyday life.

That’s why, when I read a review in the review section from one of you gentlemen, it genuinely makes me happy! You’re out there living your dreams and enjoying life.

If you asked 90% of the people you pass by every day, “When was the last time you really had a blast? Went to a party, got hammered, went on vacation, etc.?” most of them wouldn’t be able to tell you.

Last night, the night after I had a lengthy and soul-satisfying date with an incredible woman, I went to a concert with my 2 closest friends, had a lot to drink and had a blast.

I just got back from dinner with one of those friends and his wife, my estranged wife and our kids. While it’s difficult to be around my “wife” and still be comfortable, I was able to have some good conversations with my friend, his wife and his 10 year old son, who is a 40 year old man trapped in a kid’s body. And we had a good meal and some good drinks.

After I hit send on this reply, I’m going into my screened porch with a Cohiba cigar and some premium beer, and will watch some streaming content on my iPad for a bit.

I only had my phone out briefly last night to record some videos of the band, didn’t have my phone out at all during dinner today, and will only use my phone to check this forum here and there tonight.

Is that “living my life” enough for you? I spent too many years existing like a zombie, and feel like weekends like this are the exact antidote to that.

Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale (8.2% ABV) and Kentucky Old Fashioned Ale (10% ABV). Brewed in bourbon barrels, both very tasty, and pair very well with cigars.

I love a good beer, my favorite is Tuborg classic. It's pretty well known all over the world, since Mads Mikkelsen promoted it.
