Today is the one year anniversary of my very first date with a porn star, and I commented on my review from that date earlier today. @pescadodiablo commented, asking me if there was one thing I would share with myself one year ago as I was starting out, what would it be. My comment is pasted below, but it made me curious - what advice would the rest of you have for your younger selves now that you have all of your experiences under your belt? Because that advice could also be very useful to other people just starting out.
Here's what I wrote:
I think my best advice to me starting out, and to anyone else new or newish on here would be don’t be afraid to try new things. In fact, try everything at least once. Work with that agency. Book that woman you’re not sure about but who is highly recommended. Sponsor a tour. Reach out privately to women on social media. See a trans provider. Have a threesome. Book an arm candy date. Go to Vegas and be part of an orgy. Fly a world famous porn star to Orlando for the night. Be bold. Be fearless.
You’ll regret the things you didn’t try way, way, WAY more than you’ll regret the things you do try.
Did I make some mistakes this year? Of course I did. Are there things I wish I hadn’t done or wish I’d handled differently? Yes. But every one of those things became a valuable lesson and in the grand scheme of things and put into context of the year as a whole, those things are just part of life.
