It will never cease to amaze me the amount the disgusting and underhanded things happening in the celebrity world. Things that are directly happening under our noses with people we may have seen on television on magazine covers. I mean, looks what's happening with Diddy. This celebrity is a little less popular but status can be put in the same category as Diddy; depending on who you talk to.

Michael S. Jeffries, former CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch, has been indicted on charges of running an international sex-trafficking scheme during his time at the company. Federal prosecutors in New York allege that Jeffries and his partner, Matthew Smith, coerced dozens of men into sexual exploitation, often under the guise of modeling opportunities. A recruiter, James Jacobson, was also implicated in selecting men for these events, which took place globally.

The indictment follows allegations first raised in a BBC investigation and a class-action lawsuit. Jeffries, Smith, and Jacobson face serious charges that could lead to life imprisonment. The indictment accuses them of using alcohol, drugs, and threats to force men into non-consensual sex acts, with some victims as young as 19. The lawsuit also claims Abercrombie & Fitch turned a blind eye to Jeffries’ conduct, using corporate funds to pay victims.

Jeffries and Jacobson were released on bond, while Smith remains detained. Their arraignment is set for October 25. Abercrombie, now independent from Jeffries, expressed shock at the allegations and has launched its own investigation.

Regardless of the fact that these are men be trafficked makes no difference. These men were being taken advantage of for nothing more then to walk a one way and appear on magazines. Something that would frivolous to someone like me and you, but the world to someone like them. So far, no victims have come forward to the media about the ins and outs of the ring orchestrated by Jeffries. Although, these arrests rarely happen unless a victim comes forward with first hand evidence.

This is sure to hurt the famous clothing brand. I figure with this long investigation it's doubtful they will recover fully and with the company supposedly looking the other way to Jeffries activities one can only think how the public will react.
