The biggest thing I try to avoid when seeing my provider is cancelling. One of the worst things you can do is cancel on a provider it can lead to a number of problems the main one being paying the cancellation fee. The cancellation fee isn't something that isn't written in stone and there's no set rules implementing what consists of cancelling. Every provider has their own rules for paying after canceling and they can pretty much make up whatever number they want along with the reasons for canceling, so you can be paying anything from 50% of the fee to the provider to the entire hourly rate as if you did see them. This brings up the new trend I'm seeing where providers are now asking for 100% of the rate for cancelling.

From the outside looking in I've grown to understand what comes with a provider taking the time they need to please us. It takes time and money to see each client prior to meeting them and that's if the client shows up and doesn't waste the providers, this is something a lot of clients get off on doing I don't know why myself. There's hotels fees, beauty products, lingerie, you name and that's what's needed for the provider to do what they need to do, so when you add the cost for all the amenities it does make sense to have a cancelation fee; though not at 100%.

In dealing with the hobby we're in where you're paying for time with a person canceling isn't the first thing on our minds. Still, emergencies do pop up. There are certain leniencies that providers will understand, but with this 100% cancellation fee slowly becoming a thing I don't know how lenient providers will be in the future.
