King George Brothel opened its doors in Berlin, offering a groundbreaking "all-inclusive" experience for a flat fee of €99 ($110). Open daily from 18:00 to 04:00, the brothel allowed customers to drink and have unlimited sex with 27 women, mostly from Eastern Europe, including Poland, Romania, and Hungary. The women sat outside their rooms on purple velvet stools, dressed in pink tube dresses and stilettos, designed for easy removal.
Erben, the owner of the brothel, explained that the concept was introduced to create a more relaxed environment for men who often felt rushed in traditional brothels. He noted that many customers, feeling pressured by strict time limits, experienced performance anxiety. By removing the time constraints, Erben sought to create a comfortable atmosphere where patrons could take their time.
The King George Brothel was the first of its kind in Germany to offer such a flat-rate model, quickly becoming a notable feature of Berlin’s sex industry. However, in recent years, changes in nationwide laws led to the discontinuation of this “all-inclusive” experience. The brothel has since adopted a more conventional pricing structure, charging €100 for an hour with one of its women, aligning itself with standard practices across the country.
While the "all-you-can" approach is no longer available, the King George Brothel remains a part of Berlin's nightlife, though its business model has shifted due to regulatory changes, reflecting the broader legal landscape surrounding the sex industry in Germany.
