Oops sorry about the flowersThis is rarely feasible for me. Seeing women on tour in my city and giving them flowers means them keeping flowers in their hotel room when other guys show up. I’ve shown up in hotel rooms and seen flowers, and it’s a very not subtle reminder I wasn’t there first. I know it’s true but I do my best to not think about it so I don’t want or need the reminder. And the flowers I’ve seen are always still in their wrappers, usually laying down next to the tv. They don’t have vases and can’t stand them up or take care of them, and they might not want to even if they could, knowing how future clients will feel seeing that. So the flowers will not be displayed prominently and will die prematurely, and she’ll have to throw them out when she leaves for the airport in a couple of days anyway. I’ve talked with a bunch of touring women about it. Gifts they can use right away and/or put in their suitcase to take home with them is generally best kind of gift.
Now, meeting in her home city? That’s different.
You weren’t the first and won’t be the last, and my time with you was so amazing that flowers in your room is literally the last thing I’ll remember about it.Oops sorry about the flowers![]()
Same here, though they don't get into the details of the flowers and the care. They're so happy to receive them and always either show their friends or post photos to InstagramThis is rarely feasible for me. I would never eat "homemade food" LOL! Wow do people actually bring them as gifts LOL!Another quick thought: never bring homemade food or any edible option that’s open or could have been tampered with in some way, at least not until you’ve established a very trusting mutual relationship.
Aw thank you!!!!You weren’t the first and won’t be the last, and my time with you was so amazing that flowers in your room is literally the last thing I’ll remember about it.
I’ve heard it from a couple of women, yes. They politely accepted it and threw it out after the guy left.I would never eat "homemade food" LOL! Wow do people actually bring them as gifts LOL!
Is she a Blue Jays fan?Guys, I think I fucked up. Currently on my way with a dodgers World Series shirt and hat as a gift. I’ll let you know how it goes!
Dodgers fan, thankfully. Ha. It’s something we’ve talked about, so I think I’m safe. Gamble, sure.Is she a Blue Jays fan?
Whether she likes/accepts the gift or not, I think we’re going to need to see a picture of you in that shirt.Worst case scenario is I have a new bare midriff shirt.
Ok, not a bare midriff, that was more for comedic value.Whether she likes/accepts the gift or not, I think we’re going to need to see a picture of you in that shirt.
Sweet gift. I bought one of those shirts too and while they’re overpriced imo, I’d happily gift it to a provider that’s a Dodgers fan too.Ok, not a bare midriff, that was more for comedic value.
Like I just wrote, that is not a fuck up and if she don't appreciate it rethink your choices lolGuys, I think I fucked up. Currently on my way with a dodgers World Series shirt and hat as a gift. I’ll let you know how it goes!
I love that you appreciate if someone puts an honest thought and effort into it. For example, the velcro strips. Whoever that was, I give them big props. He put time, thought, and effort into that gift. Of course something off the person’s wishlist or money are great gifts…but thinking outside the box shows more thought and consideration. I’m happy you’re someone who appreciates when another person puts time and effort into a gift.I am loving reading all these responses and takes on gifts! Do you know what is the best part about all of them? It's the fact that there are still gentleman out there that are just thoughtful and nice. Guys that really want to leave a good impression and thats awesome! The fact that this is a post topic speaks volumes about a lot of the men on this site. Not everyone will have this thinking but it's ok.
Now, I'm not dumb, I get that guys pay for a service and with that comes a sense of entitlement for him. But, don't for a second think that this girl doesn't enjoy ANY token showing appreciation for what is happening. If you want my honest opinion, gifts of any sort make it feel less like a transaction.
Honestly, the best gifts are the ones that show you were listening lol. I had a guy bring me velcro strips because I had told him I needed to get them to put these things up on the wall and I keep forgetting to get them! He brought a package of them from Home Depot and I honestly thought that was greatest gift ever! LOL Truth! He actually listened to what I told him and then went out of his way to get them, and I didn't have to make a special trip for them! THOUGHTFUL! Hope that makes sense.
Yes, obviously I love things off my wishlist and big ticket items like the guy that just bought me expensive boots for no reason other than because I showed them in a post and said love these! So, @Sexaddict over the top is good too sometimesBut what I'm saying is I think the best gifts are the ones that come from listening to us. Or asking us. Never know, you may ask what gift you can bring me and I just might say bring me a blizzard from Dairy Queen and we are golden!
welll unless she is a giants fan or any rival of the dodgers lolLike I just wrote, that is not a fuck up and if she don't appreciate it rethink your choices lol
