This is untrue. Anora isn't raped by a bunch of NYPD cops in jail, nor does she become a porn star, and Anna Chambers (Tryst Agency) didn't marry a billionaire oligarch's kid. The similarities begin and end with both being from Russia, growing up in Brooklyn and working in some form of adult entertainment but that's it. Sean Baker based the character on actual strippers he met with and interviewed many of whom got cast in the movie and collaborated with Mikey Madison to create the final character. The idea that "they based anora off anna chambers" is just incorrect.

Really!? She's a hell of a content creator, so I didn't think she would be retiring anytime soon. Hell, I half expected her to rebrand herself and start doing mainstream more. Either way, maybe this is something that makes her happy.
