@Swytypy for making me think about this—it’s actually a pretty funny and intriguing thought. How much would it really cost to completely buy out a provider, not just for a one-time session, a weekend, or even a few months, but for a truly extended period—say, 365 days and even more.
Let’s start “small” and think about a single year. Has anyone here ever booked a provider for an entire year or even for half a year? That would be a serious power move—absolute baller status.
I vaguely remember a story about a guy who did exactly that. He booked a provider for an entire year, essentially making her his exclusive companion. From what I recall, though, it didn’t end well. Whether it was because of personal dynamics, money, or just the reality of trying to keep that kind of arrangement stable, it fell apart in a way that probably made him regret the whole thing.
Now, let’s play a little thought experiment. Imagine you just invented the hottest new product or app and suddenly found yourself with $50 million in the bank. Would you use some of that fortune to buy out your favorite provider for a full year? How much would it take? And more importantly, would it actually work out the way you imagined, or would it turn into a situation where reality doesn’t quite match the fantasy?
