Fun trivia fact, Paraguay lost 90% of its male population during a war against three other South American nations; war of the triple alliance. Sure a lot of those casualties were cause of disease but that’s not the national myth. The national myth is all those boys died fighting and a Paraguayan therefore is a hardcore, psycho warrior when it’s time to throw down.
And then you got the Egyptian side and the whole honor culture that I’m not sure is totally cultural; sometimes I wonder if it just runs in the blood too.

Anyway that story ended with me laughing in his face and I never had to find out how far I’d have to go on that score. Though I am amazed he still walks the earth. Idk, just wondering aloud, talking some shit, and trying to figure out how anyone who’s a shitbag exists in any business sector. And this one is more fascinating than most since it’s a grey zone or “black” operation to begin with, in most societies.
