But the question I wanted to ask: do we have a epidemic of men/young men/boys who have mommy issues? I feel like there's something to be said when there is seemingly an exponential increase in MILF/stepmom content. When I was younger all of my friends loved pornstars like Kendra Lust (like yours truly), Julia Ann, Lisa Ann, Angela White, etc. aka women who are significantly older.

Listen, it could just be as simple as I haven't lived long enough to see that this has been a trend for a long time, but to me it seems like this particular trend has exploded.

I think the MILF/stepmom thing has been around a long time. Ladies go from barely legal to MILF pretty much when they turn 21 in this industry and there isn’t much creativity in porn writing, although that’s not universal. I don’t have a particular type. I’m attracted to Layla Jenner and Daisy Pheonix, who are very young and very young looking, but I’m also attracted to Jessica Ryan (Tryst Agency), Suttin, Kitt Jones (Tryst Agency) and others who are well into their 30s, and lots of ladies in between. I like redheads, blondes, brunettes, and even like pink and blue hair.

I generally don’t watch porn for their plot lines, although the occasional storyline idea comes around that intrigues me, or the actress does a really good job or the outfit is good, or I just really like her in general.

I also don’t think it’s related to mommy issues just like I don’t think attraction to young looking porn stars points to pedophilia. I personally think it’s more about the look of the actress, her face, her body type, her skills, etc., than about the specific story for most people. I watch my favorite porn stars in just about any scene they shoot, skip the parts I don’t care about and pay attention to the parts I do.

So a few months back (btw not related to porn) I read an article stating there's more and more Older Women - Younger Men relationship and stating the reasons:

"Physical attractiveness, emotional maturity and financial freedom were cited as the main reasons. "

although there could be other reasons too but these are the common things I find and same from women too (younger women - older men) and they cite that guys around their age group don't know what they are doing at bed, premature ejaculation and several reasons you can list out.

but I don't think we can reduce that too "mommy issues" or "daddy issues" (in case of women) imo it's all about what they do in bed, beauty, and their physique and to me age doesn't matter it's all about what they do in bed.

It's a fair observation, but I think what we're seeing really is women with longer careers in adult film. When I think of the stars of yesteryear, like Jenna Jameson, Chasey Lain, Tera Patrick, Devon, etc. they stuck around for only so long. Today, we have older women being more comfortable, and not feeling "aged out" (i.e. Richelle Ryan, Brandi Love, etc.) So they naturally fill the MILF / Cougar genres, and end up shooting that a lot.

I actually just talked with Kate Dalia (Porn Companions) about this Monday. It started when she was talking about porn star relationships, and how they work differently than civilian relationships. How they feel about sex with a partner vs. sex with a client vs. sex for work. I talked about how I try to compartmentalize sex with porn star escorts and sex in porn so I don’t get the wrong idea about how foreplay, romance, sex and real relationships work, in case I ever have one of those again. I don’t want to have unrealistic expectations of a woman, a relationship or a sexual experience because of what’s shown in porn or what I get during a date with a porn star.

But I’m in my 50s and I’m smart enough and experienced enough to know better. Young guys who are very inexperienced and know most of what they know because of porn are not going to have that ability.

So in my opinion and I think this is just me. I believe the industry brainwashes us into or has been brainwashed us to be more attracted to MYLFs. From day one I always though my attraction to older women was just something I preferred, like it was my actual preference. It wasn't until I got older and took my hands out of my pants I realized the industry was pushing more towards it.

Mind you, I don't have a preference now but if you put a hot MYLF in front of me I'm pushing everyone out the way to get to her.

Back to the brainwashing thing. I think the industry knows a lot of who there fanbase is and lets just say it's not a lot of us in here. I can honestly say I really don't give a fuck about porn as much as I did when I was younger. In my early 20's I was ready to jump on a MYLF along with the rest of my friends, because that's what the industry pushed it's what's popular. We weren't talking about that fresh 19 or 20 year old pornstar, we were talking about the mature women with cross feet.

When I first thought about this I shrugged it off, because it couldn't be true. It wasn't until I did interviews with PSs that they filled me in on type of genre that was being sought after more then any other in the industry, MYLFs.

So, yes. I think it's an epidemic that is beneficial to the industry and will not stop anytime soon. This is just my opinion. Feel free to argue back. Just got off work, so I need shit to do. Lol

I think there are stars who are kinda doing this sex ed by books or tutorials like Stirling Cooper who has made a dedicated site for sex and he has been advocating for how younger men to stop watching porn and if I am not wrong Derrick Pierce released a book about sex guide.

I would like to see a series of podcast or something along the lines where pornstars teach sex education to the youth and I feel it would be great.

I also saw a documentary (cannot recall where), where the role play between provider and step kid was very very common with them.

But demand usually is a reflection of the customer needs and a wider societal matter.

Same here. It's always been the older women. Lisa Ann, Shyla Stylez, Chasey Lain, Jill Kelly, etc. I always had crushes on girls 2-3 grades ahead of me growing up, and that definitely played a part in the appeal of me being attracted to women older than me. I did that role play a few times with a few PS providers, but it only took one time for a provider to go a little to far. I was into the role play and it excited and seen it a million times in porn, but once I heard the word "mommy" I can't tell you how quick my dick died.
