Right now, over 190 websites showing pornography is banned in Thailand - this might change now.
Taopiphop Limjittrakorn, a member of Thailand's Move Forward Party, has introduced a bill to amend the Criminal Code to lift the ban on adult films and sex toys. He believes that legalizing these items under strict conditions would enhance transparency, improve regulation, and reduce the prevalence of substandard, smuggled goods.

The proposal includes restricting adult content to those over 20 years old and establishing industrial standards for sex toys. Taopiphop aims to promote open discussion and systematic monitoring, advocating for a more progressive and transparent approach to these issues in Thailand.

It will never pass. As someone who lived in Thailand for over a year (Udon Thani), I can attest to two things:
1. The massive firewall in Thailand is impressive
2. Final decisions are made by the king, not the junta (ruling military party) or the politicians.
They are pretty strict about these things. Even talking bad about the king on social media could land you in prison for 20 years.

Currently, there is a big underground porn shooting operation in TH. Peeps going to Thailand and filming porn in hotel rooms, but they run the risk of being imprisoned.

No, prostitution is also illegal but they pay off the cops and everyone looks the other way because tourism money. Some bars get raided because they didn't pay their bribes and then open up the next day after paying. If you want to shoot porn, you have to pay the hotel bribes they demand. If you don't , they will have you arrested.
