The Eden Ivy fan blowbang took place today, and as more details emerge, it appears the event may have been somewhat misleading. While it was promoted as a fan-centered opportunity, the majority of participants she selected were not average fans but amateur male talent who actively shoot content. Eden even reshared multiple posts on X from participants, all of whom appear to be amateur performers.




Could they technically still be “fans”? Yes, but the way it was marketed suggested that anyone had a fair opportunity, which doesn’t align with how it ultimately played out. I’m also curious, @roundabout33 mentioned he was selected. Did he actually participate? If so, which of the individuals pictured is him?

Hopefully @roundabout33 can clear some facts up and provide a review. Moving forward it seems we may have to take postbof this nature from Eden with a grain of salt.

One of the most effective steps clients can take is to book through a reputable agency such as Tryst Agency. I cannot speak for other agencies, but in my experience, this agency provides a level of reliability and accountability that is uncommon in the industry.

They will typically return your deposit or apply it toward a future date if a booking falls through. They have also been known to help clients recover deposits from providers when a client booked directly rather than through them. Of course, no process is perfect, but when Tryst Agency is managing the booking, you can generally feel confident that you are in good hands.

I spend a lot of time dealing with cyber security, it is better to have a healthy amount of skepticism because people do fall into bad situations. Bad actors do exist, to deny so is really naive.

And for some of us, we don’t have a lifetime of wealth to parachute from if things go sideways. Being careful how you go about the hobby is how one can stay out of trouble.

I hear stories of using burner phones, burner emails, rideshares to prevent being caught by LE or their partner. A little excessive, but you do you.
