It really seems as if X really doesn't want providers on their app anymore. With so many provider profiles being banned at an alarming rate it makes it harder for them to freely promote themselves and for us to find them. Now, provider dates are being targeted. The one thing that providers use X for more then anything is being taken away and with it their patience for the app.
Yesterday a provider was kind enough to give us a visual as to what we can expect. Whether you're posting or retweeting X will flag the post and give you a warning, like the many warning they give for literally anything on their app these days.
As you can see something a post as simple as a city abbreviation followed by dates are flagged. I have no idea how this is going to work for the entirety of X as a whole as providers aren't the only ones who post tour dates, but I hardly doubt they care. No one can say that X isn't tryin to get rid of the sex worker community as this is a blatant target towards them and those affiliated with them; AKA us.
Some providers are already trying to find solutions to this new problem. Changing words in the post such as adding "vacation" or "time away" are being implemented to get around being flagged. I don't think there's been any news yet of whether these work or not, but I'm sure we'll see something eventually.
This move X is making is a big one. I can't be entirely made at it as they want to distant themselves from sex workers for a number of reasons. I believe the biggest is for accountability from sex workers actions. Regardless of why X is doing this the move to Blue Sky is making more and more sense to me as the days go by.
