I agree with what you’re saying. my point is it feels like she’s charging me for something that goes hand in hand with something she’s also charging me for. Like imagine someone charged $500+ for DFK and then had another charge of $500 to use tongue. like huh lol
In my opinion, CIP isn’t something that should ever be assumed to come standard or “go hand in hand.” For many providers, allowing that comes with real considerations and risk.
Every woman’s body is different. For some, it can disrupt their pH balance, lead to infections, or require downtime, ultimately affecting their ability to work and earn. Others can’t rely on certain forms of birth control due to serious side effects, which adds another layer of responsibility and risk.
There’s also the broader aspect of personal health, trust, and boundaries. When a provider agrees to something like that, it’s not casual—it’s a calculated decision based on comfort, safety, and mutual respect.
So it’s important to recognize that what you’re asking for isn’t just an added preference, it’s something that carries weight. If it’s even on the table, it should be approached with understanding, proper communication, and a level of appreciation for what’s being offered.
