There’s some confusion about where the boundary sits between an ATF and a SB and how easily those lines can blur without us, clients even noticing.
Everyone knows what an ATF is: someone you enjoy, trust, and return to over and over, whenever they're in town.
It’s familiar, consistent, and mutually beneficial.
A SB on the other hand is different. It involves ongoing attention, gifts, emotional access, and financial generosity that extends outside the booking.
That’s the hook, it always starts like that.
That’s when the WhatsApp messages began:
That’s when the dynamic shifted from ATF… to SB.
If you’re:
You’re in SB territory, whether it’s spoken aloud or not.
It happens when you start giving more than the booking required - financially and investing too much into it, emotionally.
So the real question isn’t: "When does an ATF become an SB"
It’s: "When do I stop being "just another client"
Now, I´ve written tons of posts on SBs, including a personal Q&A, in which I´d still be happy to answer any additional questions.
The SB world is endless so expect some more post on the matter going forward.

It usually starts with trying to feel “special.”
You convince yourself that if you treat her a little better than her other clients - if you gift more, reply faster, say yes more, she’ll see you differently. That’s the hook, it always starts like that.
My Example: The Slow Shift
I once had an ATF I really liked. At first, the gifts only happened during meets, which is only normal. But things shifted after we exchanged phone numbers and started seeing each other outside of her work. We had probably done so for the better of 4-5 months. That’s when the WhatsApp messages began:
- “These shoes are so cute.”
- “This shirt would look amazing.”
That’s when the dynamic shifted from ATF… to SB.
If you’re:
- Buying gifts outside meets
- Texting said woman daily
- Feeling emotionally invested
- Trying to “earn” connection
You’re in SB territory, whether it’s spoken aloud or not.
The transition doesn’t happen because she changed.
It happens when you start giving more than the booking required - financially and investing too much into it, emotionally.
