Here me out fellas!There is always a need for an icebreaker in our hobby. The icebreaker is what makes or breaks those first couple of minutes in a session, no matter how good the provider is; they can't do the speaking for you. You can either completely dissipate the awkwardness in the room or generally make it worse, and there's no real in-between. This is why I'm thinking of adding a sexy card game into the mix.
This was not my idea whatsoever; something like this never would have entered my mind at all. Not because I think it isn't needed in sessions, but because bringing something like this into a session can be a real hit or miss, in my opinion. The provider could like it or hate it; it just seems like a big risk to put it out there if it's shot down. Interestingly enough, I got the idea from a provider.
The reason I bring this up is that I have a session with one of my ATFs in two weeks, and being the perfectionist I am, I want everything to go right, even though I know hands down it won't. A guy can shoot for the stars.
