If there was ever a time to shoot up a provider’s room, it’s now.
We’ve seen a number of male birth control experiments pop up over the last few years. None of them were worth paying much attention to—like most experimental drugs, the side effects sounded worse than the actual problem they were trying to fix. But now there’s a new pill in the works, and apparently, you won’t have to suffer a stroke just to use it.
It doesn’t have an official name yet—right now they’re calling it YCT-529. The company behind it is YourChoice Therapeutics, and they’re completely focused on male birth control, which I didn’t even know was a thing. I figured this was just some side project by a women’s health company trying to take a little pressure off the pill. But I guess men do have a part to play in the whole birth control conversation.
Anyway, what makes this pill stand out is that it reportedly doesn’t have any side effects. That’s been the biggest issue with all the others—killing sex drive, messing with hormones, and introducing side effects that made you wonder if knocking someone up would’ve been the lesser evil. But this one? Seems clean… so far.
The way it works is kind of like a vasectomy. It stops you from producing sperm. So, you still orgasm, but when you finish, you’re basically just shooting air. Sounds kind of shitty when I write it out like that. I mean, I’m not trying to be out here dry-climaxing. Actually climaxing, with semen, is the best part. CIM, COA, COB—and especially CIP—is what makes seeing providers worth every penny.
As promising as this new pill sounds, I don’t see it being something most of us will want. If your goal is to metaphorically shoot up a provider’s room without consequences, then sure—maybe this is for you. But giving up CIP? That’s a lot to sacrifice. Yeah, technically you can still do it while on the pill, but that shared warmth during the big moment is hard to let go of. That’s what separates good sessions from great ones.
Either way, you’ve got time to think it over. This pill is still five years out from hitting the market. So that’s plenty of time to get your CIPs in without regrets.
