Fellas, is the expectations of tips/tokens of appreciation " guaranteed " with a repeated provider? Once you go down that road of gifting her something from her Amazon Wishlist, there's a reasonable expectation that the gifts become customary?

I don't think so. Do it sporadically, for special occasions. Once you do it all the time it loses meaning.

My usual approach for a first meeting is to either let the woman choose a few items from her Amazon wish list or take her out for a nice lunch or dinner afterward. For future sessions, I may offer something extra if it feels appropriate, but it’s never an expectation.

If you’re seeing someone who expects a gift every single time and becomes disappointed when they don’t receive one, it may be worth reconsidering whether continuing to see them is the right choice.

I usually tip my ATF and she always tells me that I don’t have to, and every once in a while when she tells me that I don’t have to, she’ll follow up with “ok fine the next date is on me then.” And on that next date I’ll usually take her out to a nice dinner instead of paying the regular fee.
