I didn’t think I’d be writing about another teacher getting in trouble involving escorts yet here we are again. Less than a month ago, I wrote about a principal who got caught up with a provider while visiting Colombia, only to come back and have to explain why he was out of the country with a woman he wasn’t technically involved with. Now, we’ve got a teacher resigning from his career after being caught organizing sex parties where escorts were allegedly being paid to attend. And somehow… I didn’t get an invite.
Back in late 2025, a teacher going by the name “Major Hands” was reportedly hosting these escort parties. According to the story, he wasn’t just hosting he was also managing and promoting the women, all out of his home in upstate New York. It was supposedly run similar to a brothel, where clients would show up and discuss rates directly with the providers once inside.
That’s where things start to sound a little wild to me. I’m not saying I believe everything at face value especially considering how stories like this can get spun but I can believe that he hosted parties. Honestly, at one point or another, a lot of people have probably thought about doing something like that. It could have started as a guy just wanting to enjoy himself and let his friends do the same.
Where it seems to have crossed the line is when it turned into something closer to an organized operation. From what’s being said, Hands did try to take certain precautions having people park away from the house and avoiding open conversations about money but at the end of the day, it was still happening in a residential neighborhood. And if there’s one thing every neighborhood has, it’s nosy neighbors. The article doesn’t clearly explain how he got caught, but it wouldn’t be surprising if someone nearby reported suspicious activity.
In my opinion, this falls into a bit of a gray area. On one hand, it sounds like he was just living his life the way he wanted. On the other hand, being a teacher complicates things for obvious reasons. Still, if people really knew the kind of situations that happen in and around schools with adults, not students it would probably surprise a lot of them. From relationships forming at PTA meetings to coworkers getting involved with each other, this kind of behavior exists in more places than people like to admit.
Strip away the headlines and the job title, and you’re left with someone who may have taken things further than most people would but not in a way that’s completely unheard of. The real issue isn’t just what he was doing, it’s how organized it allegedly became and where it was happening. That’s usually where curiosity turns into consequences. Being a teacher just adds another layer that makes it easier for people to react strongly, whether that’s fair or not. Stories like this tend to walk that fine line between personal freedom and public accountability, and once that line gets crossed, it rarely ends quietly.
