Performance anxiety can hit even the most confident gentleman. It used to hit me too - mostly in my earlier years in the hobby. but not anymore.
Rather than talk about some science proven things, I would much rather talk

Stay Hydrated
Drink plenty of water. It’s simple, but being hydrated keeps your body calm and balanced.

Controlled Breathing (15–20 min before)
Try this breathing pattern: breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for 2, and breathe out for 6. Do it for a few minutes before the session. It slows your pulse and lowers blood pressure, helping you relax almost instantly.

Music to Get in the Zone
Listen to music that puts you in the right mood - something that gives you confidence or focus. Music sets the tone, just like in a movie.

Beta Blockers
Beta blockers calm the body’s “fight or flight” response, they slow the heart rate and steady your nerves.
They don’t block blood flow, but because they lower blood pressure, they can make it a little harder to get or keep an erection if the timing from when they were taken - overlaps with the session.
So, if you use them, take them earlier in the day and always 6 hours before a session.

These 4 things - well, at least 3 of them is KEY to combat performance anxiety and just overall anxiety - which I think we've all tried to have once in a while, before meeting a new provider.
