Got suddenly terminated from my job last week. Explanation was vague but my guess is "going lean". Not in any financial trouble for now but obviously no more hobby with this in the foreseeable future.
I know a lot of peeps here have a very successful career and I'm definitely not there by a long shot, but I'm glad I made some spare income that can let me have fun with this, and a realization that I need to stop is not easy, so maybe I'm addicted indeed. Sometimes I even wonder if this hobby leads to bad luck like this, old fashion superstitious style lol
I genuinely want to know how did you guys overcame some hard time in your life. I'm in an industry that's very employer-market right now so finding a job, even one with paycut, is going to be an uphill battle. I'm thinking shift my career direction a bit with some online education or even going back to school, but obviously, more
attached. Also thinking about starting a business and pitch something to investors, but I had never done that and I honestly don't know the chance of having efforts there is going to be worth it, in the end I can't do all of them at the same time, I'm very well aware of that.
Now on I need to put focus on improving myself, and hopefully luck will come to my side!
..and for sure keep myself not gooning for the hobby is going to be a challenge too, lol.
