Off one bad previous experience and just in general my advice for you if you're seeing a porn star or independent providers are....
1) Don't give a 50% deposit. A deposit that high is usually reserved for FMTY not an incall. Automatic red flag
2) Dont do deposit as 'Friends and Family', no matter what. I would volunteer to pay the merchant fee for protection. If the provider give "if" "ands" or "buts" that's a red flag
3) cross reference their ad to their social media and see if it matches. If they talk about the city they're visiting If not, it's a scam
4) look at their social media for red flags. Look at what they're posting and what they're saying. This is important
5) Dont use your personal contact information, real number or real email
6) Read all reviews
7) check if the provider has any news articles. I saw one porn star in 2013 at her apartment and it was cool. But she had an issue with a rapper and accused him of sexual assault but it was thrown out back in 2017. After this court case I swore not to see her despite having a good time. That was a situation I dont want to be in. She went AWOL in the industry and made a comeback, still a no from me.
Lastly
8) Don't delete any conversations(text, email, call logs), ever. I still have emails and text from 2012 with Instagram models, independent providers and porn stars when I started this hobby. I say to keep it for your own protection.
At the end of the day provider's and client's reputation will always speak for itself no matter what. If that wasn't the case independent providers, porn stars and spas wouldn't ask for references. I have a great reputation in my area that I'm cool with a retired porn star, I'm chill with a well known AMP booker in the city and great standing with other independent providers (Instagram models). This goes back to points 4, 6 and 7
