I’m curious for those of you that partake in BBFS. Since around 50-80% of the population have HSV-1, how do providers that offer BBFS treat a positive test? I’m sure it depends on the provider, some saying no, some checking for outbreaks. But what’s your experience been?
I have HSV-1, I have had it my entire life from my mom. I’m lucky and have been asymptomatic, never once had a cold sore/outbreak.
TTS doesn’t test for it but places like STDCheck.com do. Anyone know why the industry doesn’t generally test for it?
