Books usually seem dull to me, but these biographies are so captivating that...

I’ve enjoyed reading several of their biographies over the last few years.

Books usually seem dull to me, but these biographies are so captivating that they pull you in until you’ve finished them.

I usually get them as audiobooks so I can listen while walking outside.

My favourites are:

• Insatiable by Asa Akira


This book really drags you into the world of porn, the glamour of escorting and behind the scenes of Asa’s own life.

• The Life by Lisa Ann



It takes readers on a journey from her early rebellious teen years to becoming a dancer to arriving in LA and entering the world of porn.

• Romance costs extra by Sara St. Clair

This book is spot on! It describes Sara’s journey into sex work and especially escorting. It’s very well worth a read.

• Sinner Takes All by Tera Patrick

In this book, Tera gives it all away. Her entire journey from losing her virginity to become one of the most sought after pornstars.

These books are all worth a read.
They’re all available as Ebooks except for Romance costs extra.
I would recommend buying them as Audiobooks.

They all perfectly captures the world of sex work as a whole.

I would love a biography from Sasha Grey, but plenty of podcasts with her out there already.

I talked about this book before, but I'll mention it again - perhaps the best porn industry book I've read is Filthy!: The Rise and (Pending) Death of Vic Lagina, written by Vic Lagina (obviously not the name on his birth certificate, lol), who if you don't know, directed a vast majority of Brazzers porn from inception to...2018-ish, or so. It's a great read, and peels back the curtain for how the sausage is made, so to speak. I listened to around an hour of the book last night and it intrigued me. I have a session later and will be listening to it as I walk there.
So far, it´s pretty interesting.

The first memoir I ever purchased was Jenna Jameson's; it's still a great read after all these years. After that, I got Tera's book. Also a very interesting read. Had no idea at all that Sara St Clair wrote a book, I'm going to have to check that out. If there's anybody qualified to write a book about SW, it's absolutely her. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, had no idea she ever wrote a book.
