I don't know about some of you, but without backpage there is no way I would have been in this hobby. Backpage was one of the first and easiest ways for providers and clients alike to meet discreetly without going to your city's strip. It was unbelievably easy, you went on the site, searched through the categories, searched the providers available that night, make contact, and enjoyed yourself to fullest, it was truly that easy and regardless of what anyone says the site helped create the hobby for a lot of hobbyist. Which is why I was sad the day the site was shut down, but understood why it needed to happen.
Backpage was originally suppose to be a website that copied Craigslist, a place where you could buy and sell goods. Almost over night the site became a super highway for providers looking to meet clients electronically instead of risking it all on the street and for a couple of years this worked out very well benefiting both parties, until the shut down. A federal agency seized the popular website on April 6th shutting down all of its aspects for the site being involved in human trafficking. In no way am I condoning the human trafficking the site was affiliated with, it's disgusting what people used the site for behind the scenes.
I'm a hobbyist that started from the ground up. I was curious as to what the hobby entailed and one night I took a plunge and never looked back. Without Backpage I wouldn't have met gorgeous women, grow confidence in my personal life, created circles to benefit the hobby, and found a career I'm damn good at. As I said before, I don't accept what the back door dealings were happening on Backapge but I can't deny that the website played a huge part in my life along with many others.
