Over the last 3 or 4 days, I have reached out to 7 different providers via email, with a simple message saying “Hi (Provider’s Name), my name is (My Name). I saw your ad on (Tryst/Eros/whatever) and I am interested in booking you for 1 HR on 7/13 at 9 PM. Please let me know how I can provide screening. Thanks, (My Name)” and gotten 0 replies. No contact at all, not even a “No thanks”. Just completely stonewalled.
Now, it’s been probably 3 years or so since I’ve last seen a provider, but I’ve always done my best to be agreeable, on time, clean, polite, etc. The ONLY time I can think of MAYBE something happening was about 2 years ago, I saw a well-known porn star post a touring ad in my city, which is a pretty uncommon occurrence. This porn star had performed a fairly niche fetish of mine on camera several times with another porn star who is also pretty famous for performing this niche. I’ll admit that I maybe wasn’t absolutely as discreet as I possibly could be, but my message was something along the lines of “I am a big fan of the work you’ve done with (other porn star’s name), would something like that be available?” No explicit language or even acronyms used. She just responded with “no”, to which I said “Ok no problem, have a good one!” and dropped it, that was the end of the exchange.
Is it possible that something like this would get me blacklisted? Or is it just a weird coincidence that I’ve been getting absolutely no response at all over the last few days? I’m just having a hard time imaging that not even 1 out of 7 would even give me a “Sorry, I’m booked that day”.
