Can confirm this as wellWhitehall in Chicago still does not need key card for elevator
Does anyone know if the Aura or Hilton still don’t require keycards? Or any other suggestions for NYC that have been confirmed recently would be appreciated. I used to have 4 go to hotels but now they all require keycardsTwo of my go-to’s are:
Hilton Midtown
1335 6th Ave NY, NY 10019
Massive hotel, great lobby bathrooms and multiple bars/restaurants/cafes if you get there too early and need to wait a few mins
Aura Hotel
120 W 44th St, New York, NY 10036
Low key this place was just gut renovated and it is great. I met a provider there and when I walked in, the concierge said “welcome back!”
Adding the Sheraton Grand in DTLA here as well. Just used it for a booking with no provider issues getting to my room. The Hilton Doubletree DTLA elevators say they require a keycard, but I have used the hotel for bookings 3 times now (with 2 more currently scheduled) and providers have never had an issue coming up to my room.
How friendly to this hobby is the MGM Grand in Vegas.
Okay, thanks for that input. I was just curious if that hotel would be bad for meeting up with a provider. In what sense? All of the Strip hotels are going to require you to have to meet the girl in the lobby as you need a key to use the elevators.
In Vegas security is going to be a lot tighter. At the same time no one will bat an eye seeing you with a hot woman. If you're looking for a hotel with no key elevators look off strip at Marriot/Hilton hotels, but even then it's a toss up. I do know from experience the Doubletree by the airport doesn't need a key.Okay, thanks for that input. I was just curious if that hotel would be bad for meeting up with a provider.

It's been 5 years, but used to be my go to place. Guests could come right up, straight from parking garage. They don't have keycard elevators? I know Red Rock and Sunset do so I would have assumed all Station Casinos did. Would not suggest any of the Stations properties for non locals though due to how far they are from the Strip.
Adding more info for NOVA/DC, Sheraton Pentagon City doesn't require a keycardLate on this but I've met providers at incalls at The Viceroy earlier this year and I didn't need a keycard to enter the building or access the elevators.
Tysons Embassy Suites was good too.
